The JUST FASHION consortium is proud to celebrate outstanding members of its network who were honoured at the Belgian Fashion Awards 2025. These recognitions highlight the strength of collaborative efforts in driving a more sustainable, inclusive, and innovative fashion ecosystem.
REantwerp, a formal partner of JUST FASHION leading one of the project’s pilot cases, received the prestigious “Emerging Talent of the Year 2025” award. This recognition follows their earlier “Changemaker of the Year 2024” award and further confirms the growing impact of their innovative, socially driven work. Founded by Tim Van Steenbergen and Ruth Goossens, REantwerp exemplifies how fashion can successfully merge creativity with sustainability and social inclusion. By working with deadstock materials from Belgian designers and international luxury brands, while training and employing refugees, the initiative creates unique pieces rooted in storytelling and craftsmanship. Their recent move to a permanent studio and shop in Antwerp city center further strengthens their visibility and contribution to the Belgian fashion landscape.
The consortium also warmly congratulates MASJIEN, a close collaborator and subcontractor within the project, for being named “Changemaker of the Year 2025.” Through strategic consultancy at the intersection of fashion, sustainability, and technology, MASJIEN plays a key role in driving systemic transformation and fostering critical dialogue on the future of the industry. This award recognises their impactful work and ongoing contribution to the sustainable fashion ecosystem.
