The Just Fashion project is thrilled to announce the 14 SMEs selected for its Sustainability Transition Acceleration Hub, a program designed to turn climate ambition into action. Ten of these companies, chosen from 36 applicants, represent the diverse, innovative future of fashion, from AI-driven upcycling to regenerative textiles. The other four have been involved as pilot projects within Just Fashion already for two years and bring in their wealth of expertise. These 14 companies will create a cohort of innovators at different stages of their sustainability journey, learning with and from each other.
The selected SMEs are redefining sustainability in fashion in a diverse offering. The bring, for example, insights from a circular ecosystem combining adaptive fashion, recycled materials, and AI sorting to eliminate waste, they develop AI-powered upcycling that transforms deadstock into new products, reducing waste and costs or explore zero-waste garments designed for circularity and scalability as well as developing a hemp-based textile value chain that sequesters carbon and supports rural communities.

The Acceleration Hub officially begins with a Virtual Onboarding in early October, where the SMEs will be introduced to the Hub’s activities, begin needs assessments, and start refining their climate transition plans. An In-Person Kick-off in early November will help to intensify the collaboration, plus offer a site visit.
Starting in January 2027, the SMEs will dive into a full program of tailored advisory support to strengthen business models and prepare for investment, develop sustainability, climate transition, and funding strategies.
The Acceleration Hub is a key part of Just Fashion’s mission to transform the fashion industry. By empowering SMEs, we are not just trying to support individual businesses, we are aiming to shape a more sustainable, circular, and resilient future for fashion.
